Former President Deana Duncan passes the presidential gavel to Shelley Jackson.
The Northwest Arkansas Legal Support Professionals (NWALSP) met at the law offices of Quattlebaum, Grooms, Tull & Burrow PLLC to install their 2010-2011 officers on August 12, 2010. Being sworn in were President Shelley Jackson, President-Elect Pat Cooper, Secretary/Treasurer Deana Duncan and State Director Kimmi Wiles.
After the installation ceremony, President Jackson briefly explained her plans for the year, which included achieving national certification for NWALSP members and adding more opportunities for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit.
The members of NWALSP were joined by local attorneys, as well as several officers from the state organization, AALS…the Association for Arkansas Legal Support Professionals, including President Judy Davis, President-Elect Cheryl Summerhill, Past-President Linda Adair, and Immediate Past-President Janice Miller, who drove to Springdale from all over the state to be a part of the Installation Ceremony.
“It was a wonderful evening, and it was so special to have the four generations of presidency there,” said State Director Kimmi Wiles.
